Isn't it weird that someone marries a hill so that his mother could "clear herself of a curse". The rationale behind all such things can never be ascertained as these are simply beyond any reason.
Here is this 16-year-old youth Robin from Jharkhand village in India, who was married to a hill so that his mother could "clear herself of a curse".
The marriage of Robin, a resident of Bordih village in Jamshedpur, about 170 km from Ranchi, was solemnised with Laxmi hill. Robin garlanded the top of the hill and kissed it. Laxmi hill was also decorated by the villagers. A grand feast was organised for 400 villagers. Robin's mother, Keswari Devi, once fell down and injured herself while climbing the hill.
She believed that she had been cursed by the hill, which should be appeased at any cost.
